FAQs. Questions We Hear The Most
From scratch, on a clean Shopify theme, rather than layering onto whatever has accumulated over the years. That is the point of a full build: you stop paying interest on decisions made by three developers ago. Anything worth keeping from the current theme comes across because we chose it, not because it was already there.
All of them. Home, collection, product, cart, search, blog, account and the static pages, plus the sections your merchandising actually uses day to day. Every one is designed and signed off in Figma before it gets built, so you see the store as a complete set rather than approving it a page at a time.
Yes. We audit every app you run before the build starts, carry the ones you need into the new theme and wire them in properly rather than pasting a snippet into theme.liquid. Anything you are paying for and not using gets flagged, because a rebuild is the cheapest moment you will ever get to drop it.
Yes. Products, collections, customers, orders and URLs all come across, with redirects mapped so you keep the rankings you have already earned. We plan the cutover around your trading calendar and stay on it through launch week, because that is the week a migration either holds or quietly does not.
Longer than a page, and worth scoping properly rather than quoting blind. Design and sign-off take the bulk of it, the build follows what has been approved, and QA runs across browsers and devices before anything goes live. You get the timeline up front, and you hear early if something moves it.
We watch it. The first weeks after a theme goes live are where the real problems surface, so we stay on the numbers, fix what the data says needs fixing and hand nothing over until it is behaving. After that the same templates can go into a testing programme if you want one.
Yes, and that is a build decision rather than a training one. Everything merchandising touches is a proper theme section with proper settings, so your team edits it in the customiser without needing a developer. You get written documentation for the less obvious parts and a walkthrough with whoever runs it day to day.
It is part of the build rather than a phase bolted on at the end. Hand written Liquid, no page builder, images sized and served properly, and scripts audited rather than accumulated. We measure before and after and show you both, because a theme that looks right and loads slowly is not finished.
